Geometry Repair
Non-manifold edges, holes, and inverted normals corrected so the mesh slices without errors.
A 3D model that looks correct on screen often carries geometry errors invisible to the naked eye. Each service below targets a specific class of problem before the file reaches a slicer.
Work is done one file at a time, with a direct review from the same person handling your project start to finish.
Non-manifold edges, holes, and inverted normals corrected so the mesh slices without errors.
Per-region analysis against FDM, resin, or SLS minimums with a marked report of thin areas.
Reorientation and local edits that cut support volume while keeping surface finish intact.
Dimensional fitting for assembly joints, press-fits, and printer-specific shrinkage factors.
Clean export between STL, OBJ, 3MF, and STEP with mesh quality verified after conversion.
STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, and IGES are all accepted. If your file is in a different format, send it anyway — we check compatibility before quoting.
Most single-part files come back within 24 to 48 hours. Complex assemblies or models with extensive geometry issues may take 3 to 5 working days.
Pricing depends on polygon count, model complexity, and the type of issues found. A firm quote is provided after an initial file review at no charge.
If a failure traces back to an issue in the prepared file, the correction is done at no extra cost. Failures caused by printer calibration or material choice fall outside this scope.
Yes. Assembly work includes checking clearances between parts, aligning mating surfaces, and verifying that tolerances hold across all components before export.
