Common questions

Before you send the first file

  • What file formats does Coryvane accept?

    STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, and IGES are all accepted. If your file is in a different format, send it anyway — we check compatibility before quoting.

  • How long does preparation take?

    Most single-part files come back within 24 to 48 hours. Complex assemblies or models with extensive geometry issues may take 3 to 5 working days.

  • Is the price fixed or does it depend on the model?

    Pricing depends on polygon count, model complexity, and the type of issues found. A firm quote is provided after an initial file review at no charge.

  • What if the print still fails after preparation?

    If a failure traces back to an issue in the prepared file, the correction is done at no extra cost. Failures caused by printer calibration or material choice fall outside this scope.

  • Can you work with multi-part assemblies?

    Yes. Assembly work includes checking clearances between parts, aligning mating surfaces, and verifying that tolerances hold across all components before export.
